I remember the excitement and anticipation of my own wedding day! :)

Kelsey,
We used a Vogue sewing pattern (#2240) for the bridesmaid dresses. It is a retired pattern, so you will have to look on secondary markets (eBay, etc.) for it. Try searching Google. There might be a chance you could find it for less on a pattern selling website than you could on eBay.
You might want to line the skirt if you are doing a light color for the dresses. We ended up lining the skirts because a normal half slip wasn't doing the job. For the lining, we just used the skirt pattern, but made it slightly shorter than the actual skirt.
~Megan P. from A Blessed LifeMeganhttp://www.bountifully-blessed.blogspot.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6849864243024856557.post-81928735275500946772011-10-21T18:20:49.363-04:002011-10-21T18:20:49.363-04:00Congratulations on your engagement. We have a young lady in our area that will take wedding gowns and then remake them to be more modest. She has quite a talent and the finished gowns are quite beautiful. I'm enjoying reading your precious blog.

VictoriaAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
