Today is Jordan's Birthday!

This year for birthdays, I thought I would use fond and funny memories and flashback photos!  Hope you enjoy it, finding out more about our family with all of our many quirks!

  

Fond Memory: Jordan was, and still is, a very loving sister and always made the best little mother to all of us younger siblings.  On many occasions, she would grab a book when she was barely old enough to read and she would snuggle up beside me in a lounge chair and away she'd read to me (Kelsey).  Mom said that I would sit there for hours listening to her "read".  She was so sweet!

Funny Moment: One day my grandmother started a small brush fire that got away from her, so she quickly called us to help.  She also asked us to bring extra garden hoses to battle the fire with.  Well...Jordan got so excited and worked up that she grabbed our hose that was connected to the house and gave it a good yank.  Whoops!  She succeeded in snapping the water faucet off the house, causing our water lines to start gushing out.  Dad had to quickly shut off our water, before we could run down to Gram's to help her with her fire!  Although none of us thought it was very funny at the time, we now burst out laughing looking back!

Flashback....

We are so thankful for you Jordan, for what you mean to all of us! You were a wonderful firstborn and a great example to all your younger siblings.  We miss you so much, but are very glad that the Lord has blessed you with a wonderful, loving husband, and two precious little daughters!  May the Lord continue to pour His blessings out in your life in so many ways!  Praying for you for this year to come!
