Announcing....!!!

Baby Dickerson!!!

Due October 20th, 2016

God is good and has exceedingly blessed Matthew and I with this gift of life inside me!  I found out a few days before Valentine's Day, so I waited to tell Matthew until Valentine's Day.  I made a scavenger hunt throughout our house with letters that he had to unscramble at the end:
A-B-B-Y....
hmmm...wonder what that might spell!?!

Later that afternoon, we had made valentines for my family, so we took them over and had them open them.  We made them in the shape of letters, so what do you think they spelled?

It took them a few minutes to catch our drift.  We had written cutesy little sayings on each one, like for the B it said, "Happy Valentine's Day...B Mine!"  or the Y said, "Happy Valentine's Day...Y? Because we love you!"  We then had them line up to take a picture and as we were resetting them into the right letters Ethan caught on to what we were doing!

Matthew and I are so excited to begin this new stage of life and can't wait to welcome this little one into our lives!  (As for morning sickness, I've been feeling pretty good, as long as I eat regular, small meals.  Matthew and I just got back from a week of prison ministry in Florida, and then caught a really bad stomach bug, but we are steadily getting over that and so glad to be feeling better once again!)

"Behold, children are a heritage from the LORD, the fruit of the womb is a reward.  Like arrows in the hand of a warrior, so are the children of one's youth.  Happy is the man who has his quiver full of them; they shall not be ashamed, but shall speak with their enemies in the gate."
Psalm 127:3-5

Anniversaries!

On March 10th, Jordan and Caleb celebrated 4 years of marriage!

And on March 12th, Matthew and I celebrated 6 months of marriage!

How time flies when you're having fun!  We are all enjoying married life and are so thankful for the spouse that God has placed in our lives!  God is a good God who looks out for His children and blesses them beyond measure.
