Family

The Hammond Family...

 The Yuck Family...

 One BIG HAPPY family!

 One very confused little girl...
"Are they supposed to be doing that?"

Our terrific photographers, Matthew Weaver and his wife Paige, said that in all their years of wedding photography, they have never seen the bride alone at the banquet table!
We all got a chuckle out of that one!

My very handsome brothers who are growing up way too quickly!

How Blessed I Am...

...to have the family that I do!
Yesterday was my birthday, and my sweet family did everything they could to make it a special day for me!  The morning started out by Mom and Gram milking so that I could sleep in.  What a treat!  Then we splurged and had pizza and shakes for lunch which was delicious!  And when Dad came home from work yesterday he brought me this beautiful bouquet of flowers!  How sweet a Dad I have!  Jordan and Caleb called last night to sing to me and wish me happy birthday, and the boys were extra sweet and suggested we have game night last night!  And to top it all off, my sister Savannah got onto my blog today and wrote a lovely birthday post!  I am so thankful for my family and feel so blessed to be with them each and every day!  Dad, Mom, Jordan, Caleb, Savannah, Ethan & Noah, thank you all so much!  I love you guys!

My very first bouquet I've ever recieved!

" I thank my God upon every remembrance of you, always in every prayer of mine making request for you all with joy."
~Philippians 1:3

Tearful goodbyes...

Jordan and Caleb spent the weekend at our house, gathering her extra belongings and giving us a few more days to be with them.  We had a wonderful time with them, playing putt-putt, looking at pictures, playing laser tag, going out to eat, talking, laughing, and just hanging out.  But yesterday it was time to say our goodbyes, because they had to start making their way up to their home in Canada.  I have never had such a hard time saying goodbye as I did yesterday to my big sister.  She will be be deeply missed in our home, but at the same time we are so very happy for her as she is enjoying her new role in life as Caleb's wife!  Caleb is a godly young man and we couldn't have asked for anything better!

" The Lord is good to all, and his tender mercies are over all his works."
~Psalm 145:9

"Praise the LORD, call upon His name; declare His deeds among the peoples, make mention that His name is exalted.  Sing to the LORD, for He has done excellent things; this is know in all the earth."  Isaiah 12:4-5
