The Little Princess!

Okay, the wonderful Yuck family has just sent me some more photos of Victoria, as well as Jordan!

Isn't she a doll?

Would you like a flower?

Jordan at 38 1/2 weeks along!  It could be anytime now!

Sweet little thing!  Her smile just melts our hearts.

Hope you enjoyed those pictures as much as we did!  Thanks Yuck family!

Victoria Is About to Be a Big Sister!

Well, any day now, we should be receiving a call from Canada, letting us know that Jordan has gone into labor!  They have already started calling to tease us with "false alarms"!  Here are some photos of Victoria, who can't wait for "the baby" to come!

Here she is getting out of the swimming pool with her bunny towel on.  Jordan, Savannah and I all used to have a bunny towel of our own.  This one that Victoria is wearing was Savannah's!  Isn't she so cute!

And her she is eating a cookie!  She is getting so big and is learning to count to five and loves all the nursery rhyme songs.  She is going to make a wonderful big sister, just like her mother, Jordan, did for me!

Stay tuned!  I'll let you know when Baby Yuck #2 arrives!

Farm & Family

Gram is a big help around here, pitching in with whatever needs doing!  She loves helping us with the baby goats, especially bottle-feeding them!

Here she is letting them climb all over her while I try to take some pictures!

In this photo she is playing football with Ethan and Noah and one of our cousins.

She is such a joy to have around and we are blessed have both her and Poppy so close!

Here is a pic of our cat, Pecos.  Our four cats have been doing a really good job mousing lately!  Bravo kitties!

Noah and Mist ready and waiting to milk...this is their daily perch as they wait for milking time.  They are sitting on top of a ton of bags of grain.

Here are some photos of when we went bowling for Dad's birthday.

Being unusually goofy...or not so unusually!

And last but not least, our latest farm photo!

A Baptism Service

Last Sunday we held a baptism service for two of our church members in our swimming pool.  It was held after the service so everyone loaded up in their vehicles and traveled over to our house.  After the baptism we had a swim party with hot dogs cooked on the grill and all the fixins'!
(Hey, it's the south, we're allowed to write "fixins",... although it took me a long time to convince auto-correct that!)

Matthew S. being baptized by his father, with Dad, Pastor Kelly, looking on!

The congregation...

"Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age. Amen."
-Matthew 28:19-20

And then the swim party begins!

It was an enjoyable day for everyone, even though the water was slightly cool!  Good times with good friends!

Church Heritage Day 2014

Well, it's that time of year again!  Our annual Church Heritage Day!  The day where we all dress up as someone from history...below is the hodgepodge Hammond Family!

Left to Right:
Noah - Blackbeard
Kelsey - Princess Adelina
Savannah - Bell Boyd (confederate spy who later married a Yankee with the last name Hammond!)
Ethan - General MacArthur
Mom - Sacajawea
Dad - Hudson Taylor

Dad aka Hudson Taylor even had a little queue or cue (Chinese braid)!

The Perez family

Blackbeard looks pretty convincing to me!

We were also celebrating our 7 year anniversary as a church, so after a service remembering how far we've come in those seven years, we all enjoyed a wonderful lunch together, fellowshipping and simply having fun!  Afterwards we all headed outside to join in some festive games...such as apple bobbing!

...or Musical Chairs...well, how about Musical Papers!?!  It actually worked really well!

And the Rearranging Number Game

All in all, I think it was a fun day had by all and everyone is already looking forward to next year!
