Savannah's Birthday!

On Saturday, May 17th, Savannah turned 20!

We praise the Lord for blessing us with Savannah!  She is such a sweet part of our family, and we couldn't imagine life without her.  She is selfless in so many ways, never thinking of herself.  She is truly a gift from God and we are so thankful that we have been able to enjoy her for 20 years now!  We pray that the Lord blesses you mightily in this year to come Savannah!
We love you!

Oops!

Okay, okay, out with it!  How many of you noticed that the verse that I posted in the last blog post was a little wonky?  Not only was the reference wrong, but I rewrote it twice on there, or maybe more like once and a half!  For those of you who noticed but were too polite to say anything, kudos!  Dad actually caught it.  He told me, "You might want to check my birthday blog post because I think you messed up the verse reference."
; )
My only excuse would be that it was really late and I could barely keep my eyes open as I worked on that.  Oh well, that's what I get for posting before anyone had a chance to check my work!  Maybe I'll learn!

(And for those of you who now want to go back and look at my mistake, I FIXED IT!  Ha, ha, ha!)

Dad's 50th Birthday!

April 29th, we celebrated with Dad for his 50th birthday!  It was on a Saturday, so we surprised him when he arrived home from the farmer's market by telling him we were taking him somewhere!  We loaded up in the van with Mom driving and took him to the local bowling alley where we enjoyed a competitive friendly game of bowling!  After that we further surprised him by taking him out to Outback Steakhouse for supper!

He is such a wonderful father and we couldn't ask for anyone better!  He is a wise man with a truly discerning spirit and we love him so much!  We thank God for you, Dad, and hope your day was special!

January, February and March, oh my! part 3

Okay, this is the third and final installment!

Here are some more pictures of Victoria having fun with the baby goats!

Helping feed the babies their bottles!

"Are you hungry little goat?"

I love the face she's making on this one!

Taking a look at the yearlings!

"A little closer,...a little bit closer..."

"Ah, here's one I can reach!"

And now on to the milking does!

With Grandma looking at some of the milkers.

I love, love, love the photo below!  It truly captures just how much she liked the baby goats!

Jordan and her little girly with the horses.

Helping Auntie Savannah bottle-feed again!

And Great-Grandma too!

The day before Caleb and Jordan left, Ethan washed their car.

And this is the "Car Wash Dance"...!  (he,he,he)

"Hmmm...I wonder if that scratch was already there?"
Just kidding, Caleb!

We were also able to enjoy a friendly game of putt-putt, or as Caleb calls it, miniature golf, which sounds too refined.  Putt-putt sounds like a lot more fun!  : )

Here the boys are with Victoria, enjoying watching a funny video on the I-Pad.

Looking at the baby goats AGAIN!

Nice kitty

And I'll leave you with this photo of Victoria, the cute little girly that she is!  We can't wait to see her again and give her lots of hugs and kisses!
