Cheese Day

We thought you all would like to see what an average cheese day would look like!  So here goes...

Noah

Jordan

A hard working crew!

Yours truly
We usually take our MP3 player out with us and listen to a few sermons.  One of our favorite speakers to listen to is S.M. Davis.  I believe he has a sermon on almost any subject you could think of!  Some of our other favorites are Paul Washer, Voddie Baucham, Doug Phillips, Scott Brown, Phillipe Pinero, and several others.  It definitely makes for a shorter day if you have something to listen to!

Noah turned 11 on August 25th!!!

Happy 11th Birthday Noah!

"But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord."
-Genesis 6:8
Noah always brings a smile to our faces.  He is so much fun to be around and loves to make people laugh.  He loves telling jokes and hearing new ones.  He is a fish in the water and has been since he was three years old.  He enjoys all the baby animals and loves to snuggle with them.

"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for me with all your heart."
-Jeremiah 29:11
Noah is always so patient, and he is flexible to change what he is doing to accommodate someone else.  He shines forth with contentment and joyfulness as he goes about his day.  Noah has a very gentle and compassionate heart.

"Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice! Let your gentleness be known to all men. The Lord is at hand. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus."
-Philippians 4:4-7
"Being confident of this very thing that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ."
We pray that you had a wonderful birthday Noah!  You brighten our life so much with your presence!  We love you!

Swimming with a bunch of "Hamms"

Our cousins, the twins, just started school, but a couple of days before they did, they came over to our house to spend two more days with us!

Katelynn, Elaina and Noah posing for picture.
No, no, Noah.  Not a goofy picture!

I guess that one will have to do...

 Elaina...

 Katelynn...

Jordan and Savannah...

Mom...

We got such a kick out of this one.  The two of them came up with the idea that none of the sidewalk should stay dry, so they spent about 15-20 minutes trying to get the whole sidewalk wet!

If you look closely you'll notice Elaina is wearing one of our swim caps.  Both of them thought they were the neatest things and had to try them out.
Why do they look better on them???

It was a fun day and I think everyone enjoyed themselves.  Maybe, by looking back at the pictures, they enjoyed themselves a bit too much!

Jordan...

This picture is of Jordan on the phone with Caleb...
...and this is Jordan with the flowers that Caleb sent her.

Philippians 4:8

"Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things."

The Culprit: Clancy....

We walked into the kitchen the other day and found this laying in the middle of the floor....
Apparently, Clancy got bored and pulled this out of the dishwasher that someone had left open.  We have since learned to put Clancy outside whenever we are doing dishes!

He is going to be a big dog!

Hillbilly Hot Wheels Ramp

Ethan got really creative the other day and created a Hot Wheels/ boxcar ramp to race his cars on.  It's made of tin, is about 30 feet long, and has absolutely no nails holding it together.  It really is neat, as you will see in the video, and he is enjoying figuring out which of his cars are the fastest!

"Look Ma!  No nails!"

Way to go Ethan!
