This past Saturday, we held a virtual baby shower for Jordan and Caleb at our house via Skype. It was the first time we've ever done a virtual shower, and I think it turned out fairly well. (We did have two minor gliches where our internet cut out on us, but other than that...it went well!)
And what's a party without food?!? It provided a good excuse to make some of our favorite snacks! Even on Jordan's end up in Canada, the Yuck family put together a very nice tea party setting with delicious treats for the celebration!
Some of the decorations
Lemonade punch, our new favorite!
Each lady would stand in front of the Skype camera and read her card, and then open her present with Jordan and the Yuck ladies watching from the other end. Technology is amazing! What would we do without it!
A beautiful wreath/gift from our aunt and cousins!
The Willard girls standing with our Aunt Kim, and Mom peeking her head in!
The following photos were all taken by our dear sweet friend, Sarah Willard!
Thanks a bunch, Sarah!
(I can't quite figure out how to remove the white from the sides of the pictures, so you'll just have to bear with me!)
Jordan on Skype!
Mrs. Stevens and her little girl.
Grandmother and granddaughter duo!
My darling grandmother on the far left, with her sister and sister-in-laws!
Mrs. Willard and my sweet mother!
Savannah and the Reason girls
We love every chance we get to talk to that girl on the computer!
The clothes pin game!
Reading a card
We truly had a blessed day filled with sweet fellowship with some of the most wonderful ladies I know! Everyone brought such sweet gifts and we can't wait until Little Girl Yuck arrives and we can see her in those adorable outfits! The Lord is so good! Blessed be the name of the Lord!
