Matthew's Visit: Day 4

Thursday morning came too early after the late night before!

Matthew and I started most mornings out by doing devotions together, like in the picture below.  We started that in Ohio, and it was very nice to be able to continue that down here.  As we finished up our devotions, Matthew's brother, Luke, started texting the two of us, which is the reason why we have our cell phones out....

I snapped a picture of Matthew while he was texting Luke....

We were also able to get a Skype call in with two of Matthew's very close friends.  It was actually John, Joel's older brother, and his wife, Tia.  They love talking about relationships!  They have been married for two years now, they are very much in love, and they have a heart for helping people.  We both had a wonderful time speaking to them and hearing what they had to say.  Asking them questions and advice in certain areas was very nice.

After talking with John and Tia via Skype, Matthew and I went for a walk to talk about everything we had heard and to discuss things a little more.  It was a little nippy out, but the sun was shining so it wasn't as bad as it could have been.  It was a very delightful walk!  We ended up stopping and sitting down next to a tree in the woods so that we could talk a little more before heading in for lunch.

Once we had all eaten our fill, we headed outside again to play a few games of Cornhole.
